Courtney is a Zebulon native with a love for group fitness. Courtney grew up with a passion for dance and later in life fell into cheerleading, both school and all star. While in high school she earned a scholarship along with second place in an invitational dance competition given by the All American Cheer and Dance Association in Hawaii. While in college Courtney was a dance instructor for acrobatics, jazz and hip hop. Once engaged to Josh, Courtney worked with Josh at Elite Cheer and Tumble coaching all star cheerleading, recreational cheerleading and dance. In June of 2012, Courtney decided to try her hand in figure competitions through the NPC. In her 1st competition in August 2012, Courtney won the C class figure competition which was held in Charleston, SC. Training for a figure competition includes a diet, circuit training and weight lifting. Courtney was judged on her overall figure including muscularity, leanness, stage presence and overall beauty! Congratulations to Courtney for her 1st place finish. Courtney also competed in the "Muscle Heat" where she placed first in her division and then went on to win overalls. Courtney also qualified for Nationals in Ft. Lauderdale FL where she placed 7th out of 31 of the Nations top figures. Truly amazing accomplishments in just 1 1/2 years. Courtney now helps prepare girls by working with them on their stage presence and posing.
In 2010 Courtney and Josh welcomed there son Phoenix into the world. Courtney is currently a Dental Hygienist at an office in Raleigh and works as a posing coach.
